Dana Delman
Executive Director, Region 2
Dana joined California MENTOR in 2000 and has served as the executive director for the northern part of the state since 2011. As executive director, Dana leads all levels of the organization to develop innovative services and implement growth strategies. She is responsible for ensuring successful outcomes for all programs offered by California MENTOR and its partners, as well as managing the organization’s operational and financial goals. In addition, Dana works collaboratively with funding and regulatory agencies to develop new strategies aimed at improving services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as their families.
Dana began her career with California MENTOR as the director of operations for the organization’s day programs before moving into the role of state director. In the latter role, she worked with Regional Centers on the Central Coast, overseeing operations and budgeting for numerous service lines.
Prior to joining California MENTOR, Dana spent 10 years at a small provider and was instrumental in the organization’s growth. She was the organization’s first full-time employee and helped them open and operate 18 intermediate care facilities and a day program. Dana also spent four years working at Inland Regional Center. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Scripps College.
