Sarah Sanders

Regional Director

Sarah-SandersSarah became a member of the California MENTOR team in 2007 and, prior to becoming the director of the Long Beach Region, had the opportunity to hold an array of roles with the organization.

She started working in a direct care capacity in California MENTOR’s Supportive Living program before moving on to work in case management, quality assurance and becoming a program director.  Sarah has been involved in new-start projects such as providing young adults residential living options along with the opportunity to attend college.  She manages program operations for the College to Career program, day programs, family behavioral services, Family Home Agency, and specialized residential homes.

Prior to joining California MENTOR, Sarah coordinated a program for children from birth to age five with disabilities.  She has a bachelor’s degree in human and social service administration with an emphasis in child, adolescent and family studies.  Sarah loves being involved with an organization that promotes a better quality of life for an array of individuals and looks forward to further advancing quality services.
