Tammi Simpson

Regional Director

Tammi-Simpson-pictureAs regional director for Inland Regional Center and the San Bernardino County and Riverside County areas, Tammi oversees many day and residential programs.  Her responsibilities include the implementation of company systems for service delivery, quality assurance, human resource management, worker safety and fiscal compliance.

Since joining California MENTOR in 2006, Tammi has held three different positions with the organization and exemplifies the caring dedication that sets California MENTOR’s team apart in the human services field.  Prior to becoming regional director, Tammi gained invaluable experience as the director of development and then as director of program and services development.

Before becoming a member of the California MENTOR team, Tammi spent 10 years working for Electric Motors, Inc.  Her career in direct care began with Cole Vocational Services/Unlimited Quest/First Step Independent Living.  With those organizations, she developed a passion for helping others and was eager to use her business knowledge and direct support experience to continue helping others in new ways.

Tammi studied business administration at Chaffey College and holds various professional certificates.

“I am honored to be a part of California MENTOR and its mission to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  The work we do is life-changing for those we serve.  It is such a good feeling to know that we are making positive impacts on people’s lives on a daily basis.”
